Privacy Policy

This policy describes how yulmeris.digital handles personal data when you visit the site or send a message through the contact form. It applies to this website only and not to the external government sources the library links to.

What this policy covers

The page is written for scanning. Each section below answers one question about your data, from what the contact form stores to how long server logs stay on file.

Data we collect

Two things reach us: what you type into the contact form, and what the server records while the page is served.

Contact form submissions

If you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message content you provide. We do not ask for government identifiers, case numbers, or account credentials, and you should not include them in a message.

Standard server logs

Logs record technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and the page requested. They exist to keep the site reachable and to spot faults, not to identify readers. If a request arrives with unnecessary personal detail in it, we remove that detail once the request is closed.

Why we use it

Every use below maps to a job the site actually has. None of them involve advertising, and none of them build a marketing profile of you.

Answering your question

Contact form data is used to answer your question, verify a reported correction, or follow up on a citation problem.

Keeping the site available

Server logs are used to keep the site available, diagnose errors, and detect abusive traffic. We do not use your message content for advertising, and we do not build profiles of visitors for marketing.

Maintaining the record

When a correction is accepted, we keep a short internal note of what changed so later readers see the library entry as it now stands.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site may use cookies that are necessary for it to function, such as session handling. Analytics or preference cookies, where present, are described in the cookie policy, and you can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers that host or maintain the site, and only to the extent needed to operate it. Those providers work under instructions from us and handle data for no other purpose. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the site and its users.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and to maintain a record of corrections made to library entries. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data you sent through the contact form. Send the request through the contact page and describe what you want changed — including the email address you used, so we can find the message. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will respond to valid requests within the time required.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the contact form.

Children and external links

This site is intended for professional and informational use and is not directed at children. Links to agency sites, Regulations.gov, and other external resources are governed by those sites' own privacy policies, which we do not control.

What we never ask for

No account is needed to read the library, and the contact form does not request a case number, a passport or Social Security number, or a password. If you receive a message that asks for those on our behalf, treat it as suspect and tell us through the contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site or applicable requirements. The current version is the one published on this page, and material changes will be reflected in the policy text. This is not legal advice and does not replace the law of your jurisdiction; where a state or federal rule gives you stronger protection, that rule applies.

Contact

Questions about this policy or requests concerning your data can be sent through the contact page.
